A former Oklahoma State University employee resigned recently after being caught using a university credit card to buy tens of thousands of dollars of lingerie, sex toys and other personal items, records show.

Negotiations between Blockbuster and its largest creditors reportedly hit a snag regarding revised equity stakes and the amount of additional capital bondholders would put into the Dallas-based DVD rental giant, among other issues, according to a Wall Street Journal report.

NCR Corp. May 26 said it has begun replacing existing DVDPlay rental kiosks with Blockbuster Express units at 105 Tom Thumb and Randalls stores in Dallas, Houston, and Austin.

Deluth, Ga.-based NCR is rolling out 10,000 Express kiosks featuring $1-per-day DVD rentals nationwide this year through a license agreement with Blockbuster. NCR acquired DVDPlay in December 2009.

Bankrupt Movie Gallery, owner of Hollywood Video, will begin shutting down operations in about two weeks, followed by a nationwide liquidation sale, sources familiar with the chain said.

Store personnel at a Hollywood Video in Chino, Calif., confirmed the pending closure, saying the store had been notified April 30 that business would remain as usual for the next two weeks, followed by a two-day closing and then liquidation.
