PornNewz is more than just a website.  We also have a print edition that goes out to retailers and distributors every month.  Our advertising team has spent the last year on the road creating our mailing list and meeting retailers directly.  Some of the biggest studios in the adult industry are already partners with us.  Why aren’t you?

Here’s why you SHOULD be advertising in PornNewz

  1. PornNewz is quickly becoming the most trusted source for retail buyers and retail stores in the adult industry.  While other magazines offer fluff intended to appease their advertisers, our magazine features news and information that is relevant and useful for retailers.  We have over 10 years of dedicated brick and mortar retail experience that we impart to retailers each and every month.  Our articles focus on subjects that other magazines won’t even touch.
  2. As recently as a few years ago, AVN’s circulation was reported to be over 40,000.  In March of 2009 they stated it was 18,000.  Many retailers and studios alike claim to get anywhere from 10 to 20 copies of AVN every month.  How many copies does your studio receive?  Our circulation is not inflated by any means.  As of April 2009 we are sending our print magazine to over 3000 retailers.  All of these retailers have been verified to still be in business and operating.  We do not send multiple copies to each studio or retailer.  We do not send our magazine to strip clubs.  We do not send our magazine to liquor stores.  We do not send 1 copy to every Family Video or Movie Gallery which could be used to increase circulation numbers by nearly 4000.  Our magazine goes to adult video and novelty stores, and mainstream video stores that carry adult product.  Our circulation numbers continue to grow and we choose to go with a more targeted circulation instead of overprinting and sending excess mailings to stores.
  3. Our ad rates are incredibly affordable.  With our current circulation of 3000+ stores, you pay roughly sixteen cents per ad per copy.  And our circulation is increasing and not dwindling.  We hope to add non-US stores in the near future.  Compared with AVN’s circulation numbers, if AVN is charging you more than $2800 per ad, then our magazine is a better price per ad per copy.
  4. For our advertising partners we offer a variety of services that you will get nowhere else:
    • ***We post your New Release DVD email blasts (without prices) on the main page of PornNewz and include your contact information.
    • ***We will post any Sales/Specials along with any supplemental information (Excel lists, images) on the main page of PornNewz along with your contact information.
    • ***Our advertising team is visiting stores every day as part of a 2 year process of going on the road to find stores and gather information. Any stores we visit that are not carrying your product, we will inform you of the store’s location and contact information as well as current distributor.
    • ***We look out for pirated product inside stores.  We have already had one store closed down that was duplicating DVDs.
    • ***We offer the PornNewz “Takedown Piracy” offer.  For an additional fee each month, we will monitor the largest “tube sites” and send takedown notices for your content.  We also monitor forums dedicated to sharing copyrighted content and will send the appropriate takedown notices on your behalf.  We are soon expanding this to include torrent sites as well.  Our Piracy team has unmatched knowledge and insight into how online pirates operate and a passion to protecting the content of copyright holders.  For partners in our “Takedown Piracy” program, you will receive a monthly statement showing the amount of your content that we were able to have removed.
    • ***Partners of PornNewz get a free banner on our website which rotates with other partners.  The banner can link to any site of your choosing.
  5. We offer unique contests to retailers every month that make each issue highly anticipated.
  6. We do both DVD and Toy reviews each month to highlight your titles even more.
  7. We feature interviews with retailers of all sizes and because of that we have become a favorite of retailers and buyers.
  8. Our website and magazine features Store Sales Charts that are legitimate and not “compiled” to favor the biggest advertisers.  Stores of all sizes send us their charts and we post them as-is.  We realize that it would be nearly statistically impossible to “compile” the charts into any definitive overall charts due to differences in the sizes of business and many stores lack the capability to report real statistical numbers.
  9. We offer the ability to bundle your promotional material with each issue of PornNewz.  You can include a DVD sampler, title list or other various promotional material.  If your material does not increase our mailing costs we can do this at no additional fee.  If additional mailing charges are incurred, we would ask that you offset any additional costs.
