A Generation Y feminist pole dancer named Zahra Stardust will be the Australian Sex Party’s candidate for the Bradfield by-election in December.

The party announced its candidate on Wednesday, saying the 26-year-old hoped to restore a historical imbalance of male protagonist politicians in the Sydney electorate.

The court order might not have much impact, however, because the pirate duo has left the country and claim that they are no longer involved in managing The Pirate Bay. They challenge the entertainment industry’s legion of lawyers to prove otherwise. Read more

A San Francisco judge today ordered the notorious Tenderloin strip club closed for a year and directed its operator, Damone H. Smith, to pay at least $688,500 in fines after he violated a court agreement to bring the club into compliance with local and state laws.

City Attorney Dennis Herrera moved to shut down the club at 220 Jones St. after it was the scene of shootings, a homicide, alleged prostitution and a host of code violations. Read more

Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - WHAS11 News has been investigating a local male modeling agency for six months.

Some of the models say the agency isn’t delivering on its promise to try to find the models work and they say the work that is being offered isn’t to model.

It’s an investigation six months in the making, with a criminal file that dates back to 1992 when Russell Claxon spent time in jail for promoting male prostitution.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Rhode Island would close a loophole allowing prostitutes to ply their trade indoors under new legislation approved by state lawmakers.

TACOMA, Wash., Oct. 29 (UPI) — A Washington state judge has been convicted of felony harassment and of buying the services of a male prostitute.

Michael Andrew Hecht was found guilty Wednesday after a six-day jury trial, The Tacoma News Tribune reported. After the verdict, he denied any wrongdoing and said he had been set up by Morgan Armijo, a private detective, and that the News Tribune contributed to what he called “the creation of this ridiculous story.”

As many of you know, I am currently in the midst of a 2 year long project to visit retailers all across the country. In my visits to retailers of all sizes, I consistently get asked by retailers if they can buy direct from us. Since Shane’s World and Hush Hush don’t really sell many stores directly, of course I have to tell these retailers no, but I like to ask them why they want to forego their distributor and buy direct. In some cases, they have legitimate gripes with their distributors, but in many other cases, they just haven’t fully thought it through.

A recommendation headed to the Hayesville Town council will restrict adult entertainment businesses from commercial zones in the town’s jurisdiction.

The Hayesville Planning and Zoning board voted to suggest that a section on permitted uses be changed. The broad term of entertainment facilities will be replaced by a more specific family entertainment.
