Looks like you picked the wrong week to stop watching porn! Lost in the shuffle of other high-profile efforts this year, Adam & Eve’s “Flight Attendants” has truly flown in under the radar.  “The 8th Day” may have grabbed all the headlines, but this sly, sexy, comedy delivers more bang for your buck.  Fashioned as an X-rated “Airplane,” the movie liberally borrows some of the original’s classic gags – which will amuse those who don’t know them, and delight those expecting them.  It’s a high-flying affair from start to finish, as this top-flight cast will fulfill all your lofty expectations.  You didn’t think I was going to skimp on aerial puns, now did you? Surely you can’t be serious…

“Flight Attendants” concerns the troubles of Global Air - whose flight service has floundered after a crash in the Everglades turned their passengers into gator bait. Business has jumped the aisle to rival TransCon Air, which the fabulously bitchy Eva Angelina and Sunny Lane take great pleasure in mentioning. In dire need of a PR makeover, salvation arrives in the persons of Kayden Kross and Misty Stone. As a survivor physically ravaged by the aforementioned crash, Kayden first appears looking like a mummified Lamb Chop.  But when the bandages drop, she emerges flawless and ready to take to the skies.  It’s not long before pilots and stewardesses alike are inviting her to join the Mile-high club.  Meanwhile, Misty Stone’s hoodrat backstory may be pushing the stereotype envelope, but her trademark curls and blazing attitude rise above it.

Director Will Ryder takes full advantage of his spectacular cast, and doesn’t seem to waste a frame. Even the obligatory plot exposition is delivered with Lexi Love face-down in Teagan Pressley’s Danger Zone.  Lexi soon teams with Misty and Jack Lawrence for a 2-on-1 blowjob (as Kayden looks on), followed by Hillary Scott’s pre-flight anal fantasy.  With all this re-ignited sexual energy, things seem to be looking up for Global Air, but Eva and Sunny still have sabotage on their minds – and Eric Swiss’s snake on their plane.

Despite some formidable competition from a white-hot Teagan Pressley, Kayden remains the uncontested star in this crowded cockpit.  Before her climactic rendezvous with Evan Stone, there’s one agonizing diversion after another before we get to see her in action.  It looks like the wait is over when she ponders the idea of dinner and a gangbang with Evan and Randy Spears, but no. Shyla Stylez intercepts Randy, and the crafty co-pilot shows her how to smuggle more than three ounces of liquid through security.

It should be noted that numerous crash references will likely preclude “Flight Attendants” from being the in-flight movie on your next trip (not to mention some topical shout-outs to the Hudson River and the Taliban). Really, it’s not just a gorgeous cast that helps “Flight Attendants” soar, as the breezy, meta-level humor elicits some genuine laughs as well.  Time flies over the three-hour run time, but as the saying goes - taking off is optional, landing is mandatory.  In any case, the movie is a first-class addition to the Adam & Eve catalog, and a fine candidate for a run of sequels.
