Oh yes, it’s that time again. It’s time to thrash the PR! Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war!

Ok, let’s see what the adult industry gave us today. Remember, I have a theory that every day will yield either a Tera Patrick, Tommy Gunn, or Porno Party Press Release, let’s see if my theory holds.

–Spearmint Rhino is shipping something and it isn’t the contents of Michael Ninn’s desk. I’m not sure how long Ninn Worx can last without Ninn. I give them another six months. They’ll drop the Ninn Worx name, all the employees will bolt, and the Ninn catalog will get whored out at $3.

–Harmony Films signed a distribution deal for the Balkans. Hey isn’t that where Brazzers is ‘located’? Harmony makes really good movies, so I’m excited for the people of…wherever the Balkans is. I predict the Harmony Films will be a big hit there….almost as big as Transylvania 6-5000!

–Private announced it’s giving away free content for iPhone users. Man, that’s a great idea! Free content! Shit, why didn’t we think of that! Gotta keep something like that quiet or next thing you know, everyone will be giving away free content!

–Sportsheets and Fairvilla are teaming up to sponsor Swingfest ‘08. Supposedly this is the world’s largest swinger party. It’s supposed to draw up to 5,000 couples, though only 38 of the 5,000 feature at least one attractive member. All kidding aside…Fairvilla has some totally amazing stores, and I just want to give them a Shout Out. That’s what the kids are still saying right? Shout Out? Thumbs up? Kudos? Fist bump? Man, I’m old.

–Mark Kernes did post a great piece on Eh Vee In about some wacky Christians giving the Lion’s Den stores a hard time. However, he failed to make the easy joke about feeding those Christians to the Lions. Wocka wocka wocka! But seriously, those wackos are crazy. Guess that’s kinda redundant though. At least Lion’s Den is suing the city for not adhering to zoning restrictions. Could set some precedent we’d all benefit from. Porno people should get together to protest churches.

Still no Tera Patrick PR…oh no!

–Booyah! Tera Patrick is on Sirius Radio and has allegedly “taken the mainstream world by storm.” Why just the other day I was at the laundromat and all everyone could talk about was Tera Patrick this and Tera Patrick that. Here’s a quote from this fluff:

“We really do live in both worlds,” says Tera. “Our perspective on the adult and mainstream worlds is unique and we bring that to our show.”

Tera definitely lives in two worlds, but it’s not adult and mainstream. My bet is that the Tera Patrick show was the main thing holding up the Sirius/XM merger. XM absolutely wouldn’t merge with Sirius unless they included Tera and Spyder Jonez as part of the deal. The show features lots of porno girls and celebrities from the music world. The list of past guests really reads like a Who’s That? of Rock-n-Roll. Move over Howard Stern…here comes Tera!!!
